Victoria Nichio October 7, 2013 EDC 102 FAE Chapter 4 What I found most interesting about FAE chapter 4 was that each country had their own unique way of interpreting philosophy within their educational system. Each country not only teaches differently but they emphasis on different ways of thinking. For example, India emphasizes on wisdom, China emphasizes on harmony, the East emphasizes on teacher to student relationships. Then there’s Native North America that has so many diverse cultures that there is no specific emphasis on knowledge. It’s interesting because what if focusing on one of those ways of knowledge is the best key to teaching.
